Moon Studios has revised the launch window. PlayStation preorders are planned for January 2027, with an open beta planned for December.
No Rest for the Wicked's full 1.0 release is now planned for March 2027, replacing the October 2026 target. Moon Studios announced the delay on September 1, citing additional work on performance, the class system, and polish.
What changes for players
- An open beta is planned for December; participation details should be checked when the studio publishes them.
- PlayStation preorders are scheduled to open in January 2027.
- The updated Steam Founder's reward eligibility covers purchases before January 1, 2027.
The announcement does not provide an exact launch day or new Xbox and Switch 2 dates. Our console release overview separates those platform questions, while the PS5 guide covers what to verify before buying.

The June launch announcement remains in this archive as a historical record. Its October date should not be used for current plans. Likewise, the planned progression changes mean an Early Access build is not automatically a final 1.0 build; use the beginner build guide for a practical starting approach.
